About Benu (Trust)

Promotion of Indian Heritage and Culture through preservation of Hindustani Classical Music and Dance Forms is the basic intention of the NGO Trust form by Padmaja Chakraborty in memory of her late Father which has been functioning since 2010. BENU is registered with the Ministry of Culture Govt. of India as a NGO promoting these CSR activities.

ACTIVITIES of the Trust BENU includes creatating Opportunities and spreading Awareness amongst the General Public with respect to Hindustani Classical Music, Dance and other forms of the Art through Guru-Sishya parampara teaching of Music, holding of Baithaks, Workshops, Organising Public performances for talented performers alongside reputed performers to ensure exposure.
